I just realised that I failed to update the website with my last gig, back at the Nip & Tipple – sorry about that – but here are some photographs of the gig, courtesy of Plastic Garden (thanks guys).
Firstly, thanks to everyone that came down to the gigs last month at the Whitworth & the Castle – great times.
I’ve got three shows next week, I’m extremely excited about them all. My label mate Oy is coming over from Berlin, and I’ll be playing with her on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday (see below for details). These shows will be Oy’s first in the UK, and one of them will be my first in London.
Sadly the Green Room has lost its funding from the arts council, and will be closing at the end of May :o( I don’t really want to be political, but thank you very much Dave & co. The Green Bohemia event on the 14th is still happening, so do go along. My show was cancelled because since the loss of funding many of the event’s old favorites have asked to play, as a newbie performer and long time punter at Green Bohemia, I’m happy to make way for other performers to say their good byes. I’ll be there on the 14th, and strongly recommend anyone come down. It’ll be a fantastic show, and the end of an era.
Green Bohemia will live on however (maybe under a different name?) So, that gig will be rescheduled at a later date, somewhere else in Manchester.
I’ve done a remix on Consor’s latest EP – The Windtalker. Have a listen! I’ve had a sneak preview of his forthcoming album which unsurprisingly is divine. Enjoy.
